This catalogue contains worm gears in combination with permanent-magnet DCMotors with service life of 3000 hours for continuous operation (S1).

Drehzahl
Der Hauptvorteil unserer Gleichstrom-Permanentmagnetmotoren liegt in ihrem relativ konstanten Drehzahlverhalten – die Drehzahl fällt unter Belastung nur geringfügig ab. Für abweichende Drehzahlen und deren Regulierung bieten wir verschiedene elektronische Regelgeräte an.

Speed
The main advantage of our permanentmagnet DC-Motors lies in their relatively constant speed characteristics: the speed decreases only very slightly under load. For other speeds and their regulation we offer various electronic regulating devices.

Schutzart
Die im vorliegenden Katalog aufgeführten Motoren haben die Schutzart IP 40 oder IP 54. Die Schutzart (IP = International Protection) wird durch die im Folgenden in Anlehnung an die VDE 0530 Teil 5 (entspricht der EN 60034 Teil 5) beschriebenen Kennziffern klassifiziert: Die erste Kennziffer (0-6) beschreibt den Schutz gegen Berührung von unter Spannung stehenden Teilen, sowie den Schutz gegen eindringende Fremdkörper. Die zweite Kennziffer (0-8) gibt den Schutz gegen die verschiedenen Einwirkungen von Wasser wieder.

Degree of protection
All the motors described in this catalogue have the degree of -protection IP 40 or IP 54. The degree of protection (IP = international protection) is classified as follows, according to the characteristic numeral by VDE 0530 Part 5 (corresponding to EN 60034 Part 5): The first characteristic numeral (0-6) describes the protection against contact with live components, as well as the protection against ingressing foreign bodies. The second characteristic numeral (0-8) describes the protection against the various effects of water.

Schutzmaßnahmen
Sind keine elektrischen Schutzvorrichtungen im Anschluss des Gleichstrom-Permanentmagnetmotors vorgesehen, so sollte dieser über ein Steuer- bzw. Regelgerät mit integriertem Strombegrenzer betrieben werden. Eine weitere, zusätzliche Schutzmaßnahme ist die Verwendung eines entsprechenden Gerätes mit Blockierschutz, durch den die Stromzufuhr zum Motor dauerhaft unterbrochen wird.

Safety Measures
In case no electric safety measures are provided for connection, the permanentmagnet DC-Motors should be operated via a controlling or regulating device with integrated current limiter for the armature current circuit. Another additional safety measure consists of using an appropriate device with blocking protection which permanently interrupts the power supply to the motor.
