Important note:
The hard solder Series S 30, S 30 U, S 45, and S 45 U contain cadmium, and are therefore only permitted outside of drinking water installations for hygienic reasons. Accident Prevention Regulations

(e.g. VBG 15) require that adequate workplace ventilation must be ensured when working with cadmium-containing solders. Harmful vapours can arise due to overheating. In case of continuous soldering operations, extraction devices must be provided.
