Knife Gate Valve

The knife gate valve is a uni-directional wafer valve for general industrial application. The nominal widths available range from DN050 to DN1200 with flange connections complying with EN 1092-2 PN10 or alternatively, ANSI B16.5. To be able to cover a very wide range of use and offer ideal application-related solutions the knife gate valve is available in 4 different standard types (A, B, C, D).

Technical data:
Maximal knife gate valve operating pressures: 10 bar (greater pressures on request)

Motions:
hand wheel (rising or non rising spindle), hand lever, pneumatic actuator, electro-mechanical actuator.

Body materials:
cast iron (GG25) or stainless steel (CF8M), others on request.

Gate materials:
stainless steel AISI 304 or AISI 316
others on request.

Accessories: for example limit switches, solenoid valves can be mounted upon request.

Areas of application/customer branches:
The flat slide valve is predominantly used in the paper and pulp, chemical, and mining industries, in power station technology and the food industry. However, the it is increasingly being used in biogas plants, sewage treatment plants, and in the sugar, steel and animal feed sectors.
