OETIKER Stepless Low Profile Clamps have been specially developed for applications where space or clearance is restricted. They have a low installed height in the closure area, and can be supplied in very small nominal diameter steps. They can be installed axially or radially, and are also reusable – they can be repeatedly opened and reinstalled, e.g. in the vehicle industry for service and maintenance work. OETIKER Stepless® Low Profile Clamps do not have the same spring properties as OETIKER Ear Clamps. Their sealing performance depends mainly on the forces generated by compressing the elastic material of the part being joined.

Stepless® Low Profile Clamps With Type 1 Tolerance Compensation
OETIKER Stepless® Low Profile Clamps with Type 1 Tolerance Compensation can accommodate small size variations that result from the tolerances of parts being joined. The single, wave/shaped tolerance-compensation element becomes effective when the end of the clamp strip cannot be engaged, because the deviation in the size of the part that is to be clamped is too great.
