Kunststoffschläuche aus PVC: PVC ist ein preisgünstiger, vielseitig verwendbarer Werkstoff. Obwohl gerade die Verwendung von PVC in den letzten Jahren immer wieder kritisch diskutiert wurde, gibt es aber auch viele gute und vor allem technische Gründe für den Einsatz dieses Rohstoffes. Vor allem die sehr gute chemische Beständigkeit (siehe Kap. 11.1) und ganz speziell die gute Laugen- und Säurebeständigkeit wird von vielen Kunden hoch geschätzt. Kunststoffschläuche aus Polyurethan (PUR): Im Vergleich zu vielen anderen Kunststoffschläuchen verfügen NORRES Polyurethanschläuche (PUR) u. a. über folgende herausragende Eigenschaften: • höhere mechanische Festigkeiten • weniger Abrieb • bessere chemische und hydrolytische Beständigkeit • höhere Erweichungstemperaturen ➠ mehr Restfestigkeit in der Wärme ➠ höhere Druckfestigkeiten ➠ mehr Sicherheitsreserven • langsamere Heißluftalterung • bessere Kälteexibilität ➠ weniger „Biegekraft“ in der Kälte ➠ geringere „Abknickgefahr“ in der Kälte Die Gruppe der hydrolysefesten und mikrobenresistenten PUR-Schläuche ist hier besonders zu erwähnen. Ebenfalls die lebensmittelechten und FDA-zugelassenen, glatten Kabelschutz-Polyurethanschläuche, auch mit Gewebeeinlage für besondere Beanspruchungen, gehören dazu. Auf Wunsch fertigt NORRES für Sie auch Anschlussteile in VA Qualität. Polyurethan ist aber nicht gleich Polyurethan! NORRES verwendet bei vielen Schläuchen eine spezielle Ester- und eine spezielle Ether-Polyurethanmischung, der wir zur besseren Unterscheidung den Namen Pre-PUR® gegeben haben. Beachten Sie in diesem Zusammenhang bitte auch die weitergehenden Hinweise zu unseren besonders hochwertigen Pre-PUR® Polyurethanen (siehe Kap. 0.2) und den technischen Anhang.

Plastic conduits of PVC: PVC is an inexpensive, versatile material. Although the use of PVC in particular has been repeatedly criticised in recent years, there are still many good reasons, primarily technical ones, for resorting to this raw material. Its excellent chemical resistance (see chapter 11.1), especially to acids and bases, is an immense advantage for many customers. Plastic conduits of polyurethane (PUR): Compared to many other plastic conduit types, NORRES polyurethane (PUR) conduits have the following distinguishing characteristics: • Higher mechanical stability • Less abrasion • Improved chemical and hydrolytic stability • Higher softening points ➠ Greater residual strength at high temperatures ➠ Higher compressive strength ➠ Increased safety due to material stability • Better hot air ageing properties • Better exibility at low temperatures ➠ Lower „bending force“ at low temperatures ➠ Lower „risk of bending fracture“ at low temperatures We would like to particularly draw your attention to our group of PUR conduits that is resistant to microbes and hydrolysis. Our food-quality / FDA-approved, smooth, polyurethane cable protection products, some of which also feature a fabric insert for extreme operating conditions, likewise deserve to be mentioned. If required, NORRES can also manufacture Connectors in VA quality. However, not all polyurethanes are the same! NORRES uses special ester-polyurethane and ether-polyurethane mixtures that are differentiated with the name Pre-PUR® for several of its conduits. Please also refer to the detailed information on our very high-quality Pre-PUR® polyurethanes (see chapter 0.2) as well as to the Technical Appendix.
