In contrast to the basic version machine, the MS32P has up to 3 Tools available for backworking, which can also be live tools. This allows for machining of off-center holes including tapping on the cutoff side. The Z-axis have an extended stroke of 160 mm / 320 mm. If additional tool carriers are added on the second headstock, it will allow the production of longer parts including support. Main application areas The MS32P is utilized if complex parts requiring many tool carriers with a large number of tools have to be produced, and where longer parts require machining on the cutoff side. The application range of the MS32P can hardly be surpassed.
